What an honor. Thank you, really. This means so much to me, and I'll remember it for as long as I can. As you know, I'm in my second year as a freshman at UCLA as a veterinarian, because I love children. I want to thank the Academy, of course, and the director, and the producers, and the wonderful cast, who made me look so good.

So will I have to relinquish my crown at the end of the year? And what do I need to know how to do to moderate a whole, um, message-board-thingy?

Thank you, really.

Now I have to watch Earth Girls are Easy again, small price to pay

Using BitTorrent, you could have another copy in a matter of hours! If only the same were true of the latest Assia albums, Chercheuse d'Or and Encore et Encore. I might buy those two items with my birthday money, since I can't grab them from my BT friends.

If only you realized that you are just too smart for your own good!! Razz

I have dial-up, so no downloading BitComet or BitTorrent or ItsyBitsySpider on my computer... and I'm NOT willing to upgrade yet! I had downloaded it on Rene's but couldn't ever really figure out how to use it, and it was getting in the way of his iTunes so he uninstalled it. We watch our movies the old-fashioned way; at the theater or on DVD.

Forget it. It is in tomorrows mail. Have you seen Maggie Smith in "keeping Mum"? It is in the same envelope.

Love

Hey, Dad, if you're taking requests, I'd really like to see a little film called LARCENY which is probably available on NetFlix.

Why would I like to see it? Because my former classmate Bellamy Young is in it, and I might want to make screen captures for her fan site.

Now I have watched my former classmate's performance in LARCENY. It's funny that, as the lead actor's love interest, Bellamy has very little chemistry with Joshua, even though he was (and possibly still is) her actual boyfriend.

Not so much "ha ha" as verrry In-terr-es-ting....

Speaking of performances, I've been trying for over 24 hours to view the trailers and "behind-the-scenes" webisodes of Mad Men because more than one person on set yesterday said I had screen time. The sacrifice of dial-up is that you will all get to see me before I do, I guess. Please DO NOT post on my website as I still do not have a part worthy of posting on that site. These links are for you and your visitors only... I'm having much fun working the show, and yesterday I was quite featured, but "featured" is still "atmosphere".

Speaking of BitTorrent - Brett, I have the other Desperate Housewives episodes emelle was in and I've written a text file with her locations in each of the episodes. Where can I upload all of this so that you can just work your magic on it like you did with her other stuff?

I don't mind getting a text-file attachment to an email, but don't bother sending me a TV episode. In the email, tell me the episode number (like S03E03), and I will download the show to make vidcaps.

Alternately, you can very simply make your own screengrabs as you watch the episode on your favorite Media Player (like VideoLan's VLC). Google can tell you the easiest way to snap a JPG from the player you're using.

Hey, Dad, if you're taking requests, I'd really like to see a little film called SIMPLE THINGS which is probably available on NetFlix.

Thanks in advance, and thanks again for LARCENY.

I might be able to find a couple of stores you can go in, grab the DVD off the shelf and sneak it out under your jacket if you want.

As a legal alternative, you also might want to give zunafish.com a try.

Hey, how does the writer's strike affect you? Will they shut down the shows and movies you've been gracing with your presence?

If all the new shows go on a many-month break, then now would be a good time for me to watch all the old shows you've been on. Need a list. I already know about Mad Men and the others that I've taken screenshots from. What shows and episodes should I get?

I have so far worked one day during the strike... yesterday I worked on "Las Vegas"... I do not know the episode number or topic, as I don't really care if you guys see me in that butt-ugly dress, kissing my "daughter" the "bride".

If I haven't already stated what I've worked on, I couldn't tell you at this point. If you're not already looking for me, then I wouldn't worry about it now. One (I) would hope that my work schedule does not affect your TV viewing, really. It hasn't affected mine Wink

Couldn't say what the strike will do to us actors. Hopefully, they get their contracts negotiated sooner rather than later and we all go back to work.

Billie Jean informed me that she had shown her mom the pilot episode of "Aliens in America"... would love to somehow get a copy of that one...
